Community Boss only allows authorized users to access data for an account/community. There are multiple levels to this:

  1. Community authorized users - these users have access to any data collected...the more info the Virtual Attendant collects, the more info community admins (management, board, patrol) have access to. So the level of information collected here is subject to trusting the community users.

  2. Community Boss authorized users - we have access to account data to provide service and support. This is limited to appropriate Community Boss roles (e.g. customer success). We'll never sell or transfer data to anyone else unless forced to (e.g. by the government).

  3. We follow industry best practices to keep information secure from those who do not have legitimate access. This includes 100% HTTPS to protect data in transit, encrypted database connections, industry-standard authentication token mechanisms (JWT), and the use of standard cloud services utilizing their best practices (Azure, AWS).
